The Asian Whos Who Publication

The Asian Who's Who Directory is now in its 38th year of publication. The first edition waszpublished in 1975 and the second in 1977. Since the third edition in 1987 it has become an annual publication.

It is a directory of the best and brightest Asian talents, and charts the ascent of the community providing many role models for the new generations of Asians who are proving themselves to be assets to the country of their residence.

The first edition contained 200 entries; the 25th edition contains over 3,000 entries! This indicates the significant achievement and progress made by Asians around the world.

The 25th Silver Jubilee edition was recently launched on the 10th December 2012 at the Dorchester Hotel, central London, with over 400 guests attending - which is a testament, reflection of progress and success being achieved by Asian's in the modern world.

The entrants of each edition are based on the recommendations and extensive research carried out by the Asian Who's who team.

The Awards

Since 1987, the Asian Whos Who has chosen the 'Asian of the Year' award to recognise and honour the outstanding contribution by an individual to the Asian community. This much coveted award has become well established and respected amongst the community and the press. The award ceremony itself takes place at the annual book launch.

Since 2005, to reflect the diversity of impact the Asian community is having on society and to recognise these achievements, the Asian Whos Who team have selected several annual leadership awards.

Unlike other events and awards which have come and gone, the annual Book launch and award ceremonies are run with the community in mind, as opposed to commercial purposes and explains why they have become much respected over the years.
